Tokio Marine HCC – MIS Group, a member of the Tokio Marine Group of Companies, has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Sales Representative to join our inside sales team in the Indianapolis, IN office.

We are looking for a motivated individual who will serve as a point of contact for all multinational consumer-related products. The Associate Sales Representative will be responsible for handling inbound customer inquiries promptly and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Through an inbound phone distribution process, sells insurance products directly to consumers (travelers, students, expats, etc.); leads are generated by “pay per click”.
  • Works with marketing department on planning and execution of all online consumer marketing campaigns (including email, banner advertising, direct mail, etc.).
  • Distributes and tracks all e-mails received from website. Provides regular reporting to gauge e-marketing effectiveness. Positively initiates new sales distribution and goals monthly.
  • Develops and maintains key relationships with retail buyers, educational institutions, and corporations.
  • Regularly monitors the TMHCC MIS website and other direct sales outlets.
  • Provides service, support, and training for inbound consumer inquiries.
  • Researches opportunities for on-line business referral relationships and sharing of links, etc.
  • Creates and manages tracking and business reports.
  • Actively tracks and tests all TMHCC MIS Consumer facing web pages - including copy and graphics and makes suggestions for updates and revisions. Ensures consistency in branding between current direct programs and website.
  • May involve some “cold calling” for new clients, and some outside sales, which involves visiting with new or existing large clients in the field.

Job Requirements



Position Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, a related field or the equivalent education and/or experience
  • Health Insurance Agent’s License a plus, but not required 

Experience

  • Up to two years of relevant and progressive professional experience
  • Customer service or call enter experience preferred

Other

  • Possess and have ability to apply basic knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
  • Proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Good organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company’s business to proactively respond to changing business environment
