Job Description

To provide administrative and clerical support to the Bond Support Team & Underwriters on a temporary basis, for 12 months.

  • Input and retrieval of data on a bespoke database (underwriting system)
  • Filing documentation into ImageRight (paperless filing system)
  • Retrieval of financial information from Companies House and Graydon
  • Inputting terms on underwriting system and preparing quote letters
  • Preparation and checking of legal documentation
  • Assisting with departmental incoming/outgoing post
  • Monitoring of the general department e-mail box and distribution of incoming e-mails as appropriate
  • Dealing with customers and insurance brokers enquiries and queries by telephone
  • Producing Invoices and Premium Advice Notes
  • General Office Administration
  • Other reasonable duties as instructed by the Surety Administration Manager

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience working in an administrative role
  • Good command of English and numeracy
  • Good keyboard skills, high level of accuracy essential
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident and courteous telephone manner
  • Good organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative
