Tokio Marine HCC – MIS Group, a member of the Tokio Marine Group of Companies, has an exciting opportunity for an Financial Systems Analyst Associate to join our  team in the Indianapolis, IN office.

Position Summary:

 Under immediate supervision, performs plan building within the Javelina medical insurance claim system.

 Key Responsibilities:

 Relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines, the Associate Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for accomplishing the following as guided by others. These assignments are routine in nature.


  • Complete plan building worksheets based on new plan benefit structures.
  • Program new Javelina Plans, using completed plan building worksheets to dictate structure.
  • Maintain existing Javelina Plans, whether through user reported issues or plan auditing.
  • Resolve plan-related system problems reported by users.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and month-end operational procedures as assigned.
  • Execute assigned project tasks within established schedule.
  • Test plans fully prior to deployment; complete a testing checklist.
  • Document procedures and operation methods.
  • Recommend improved procedures to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Read periodic information systems journals/magazines.
  • Participate in professional user groups and organizations.
  • Attend professional conferences, meetings, seminars and training.
  • Research and evaluate new tools and techniques.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or the equivalent education and/or experience

• Minimum of two years of relevant and progressive professional experience in analyzing and configuring medical insurance claims systems
• Possess and have ability to apply knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures
• Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
• Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company’s business to proactively respond to changing business environment
• Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
