Job Description

Job Purpose:

Lead and implement the marketing and communication strategy across TMHCC European businesses.

The Role:

This is a senior role within a Global Insurance Company which will be managing all aspects of Marketing and Communications across the UK and Europe.

We are looking for candidates who will influence the look and feel of TMHCC and lead a team that adds value to all divisions within the company.

The role involves managing a team of 3 Marketing and Communication specialists

The Company:

TMHCC is a company experiencing exceptional business growth and has an excellent reputation within the Insurance Market emphasised by their credit ratings which are amongst the best in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy
  2. Oversee design and production of all marketing materials, ensuring high quality and consistency with brand guidelines
  3. Create marketing materials, press releases, audited accounts and advertising materials and ensure appropriate approvals are in place
  4. Oversee the management and development of the brand across the organization
  5. Liaise with the marketing team in Barcelona for a coordinated and consistent strategy
  6. Management of external agencies including press
  7. Manage all aspects of events and exhibitions
  8. Oversee and develop the company intranet
  9. Develop the TMHCC website and Portals in cooperation with the Corporate Office in Houston
  10. Ensure delivery of marketing activities identified by the business, ensuring plans are implemented and delivered on time and within agreed budget and quality standards
  11. Oversee an integrated communication strategy and plan
  12. Management and development of the marketing team including recruitment, performance management, development, coaching, guidance and direction
  13. Manage the budget for marketing and communication activities    

 

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience Specification:

  • Marketing degree or equivalent
  • Highly articulate with excellent written and presentation skills
  • People management
  • Extensive marketing experience at manager level
  • Insurance industry experience an advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Proven networking skills
  • Ability to operate at strategic level
  • Effective collaboration skills
  • Experience in Digital Marketing
  • Creative thinking

  Desirable Skills & Qualifications

  • Existing relationships with insurance press
  • Experience of re-branding
  • Awareness of the European Market and Brexit
