Job Description

Job Purpose:

To provide HR support and guidance to Luxembourg based Managers and Employees and assist the Head of HR in providing HR services for the Group in Europe, including Luxembourg, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Ireland and Spain.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with set up and establishment of our Luxembourg office

  • As part of the European HR Team, support the HR lifecycle of Luxembourg employees including sourcing, selection and onboarding

  • Effectively line manage HR employees in Spain, France and Germany

  • HR liaison with all European branches, ensuring that local HR policies and procedures are in line with local legislative requirements and best practice

  • Supporting local recruitment campaigns, where necessary, partnering with the local management team

  • Build effective working relationships and provide advice and guidance to managers with regard to employee relations issues and the implementation of HR policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for all training and development activities in European branches, assisting with the development and delivery of in house training workshops, i.e. absence management, appraisal

  • Ensure the effective delivery of performance management including performance appraisals

  • Administration of and monitoring of sickness absence, exit interviews, maternity etc.

  • Involvement with HR projects on an ad hoc basis

 

 

 

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience Specification:

  • HR or training related qualification

  • Generalist HR experience of at least 5 years, with at least 2 years of this experience to be in the local Luxembourg jurisdiction

  • Fluency in English, written and oral

  • Fluency in French is required and an additional European language (German, Italian, Spanish would be an advantage).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to resolve issues demonstrating a good analysis of the options and sound judgment when making decisions

  • Working experience of People Soft and ADP systems would be highly advantageous.

  • Showing initiative and proactivity by seeking and suggesting improvements to processes

  • Good Team Working as well as the ability to work autonomously

  • Good Organisation and prioritisation skills
