We have an exciting opportunity in our office located in Houston, TX. We are building a full-service Learning & Development function with new roles, tools and technologies, so we need someone that can grow with us in a role that is at often highly visible to a corporate, business line and global audience.  

  • Under supervision, this role specializes in training program coordination, logistics and administration. This position ensures that our multi-faceted learning programs launch without a hitch, including hosting of internal conferences, workshops, and webinars.
  • As the designated expert for all facets of the Learning Management System, this individual will apply systems and technology expertise to identify issues, probe for resolution and deliver effective solutions to internal clients.
  • With related communications and support duties our employees are informed of learning opportunities, programs are measured and evaluated for success, and reported to executive management. Work is often linked directly to critical corporate strategies.
  • The individual who fits this role best enjoys taking the initiative and meeting increasing work challenges.
  • Working quickly on sometimes challenging, complex issues related to systems and customer service needs are hallmarks of this role.

  • The role necessitates an individual remains well-informed about department strategies and initiatives to identify trends and interrelationships between data and information and recommend and take prompt action to resolutions.
  • A successful candidate works closely with the Director of Talent Development and L&D Program Manager and collaboratively across functional and global boundaries.

Job Requirements

Position Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements: 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources or related field such as Education, or the equivalent education and/or experience


  • Minimum of two years of relevant and progressive professional experience in Learning & Development
  • Working knowledge of learning systems and website content and layout, specifically with   Inspired LMS or similar such as Cornerstone, Sharepoint/ web page content development, strongly desired. Content authoring tools (Articulate or Captivate) a plus.
  • Any professional designations in the learning and development space and certifications to deliver content, i.e. Stephen Covey, Insights, a plus.


  • Possess and have ability to apply knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
  • Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company’s business to proactively respond to changing business environment
  • Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
