Our aim is to provide UK contractors with everything they need for a happy contracting lifestyle, all under one roof, by providing assistance and service with IR35 issues as well as sustaining excellent quality and competitive premiums in the contractor insurance market.

As a New Business Advisor you would be the first point of contact for new and existing customers enquiries in to the business. Processing customer sales and upselling additional and alternative products to clients in order to maximise value to our clients and increase business revenue.

This is a great entry level role into the insurance industry which could act as a starting point for a career in processional services. It also offer competitive benefits and an uncapped commission structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming new business calls, manage client accounts accordingly.
  • Upsell and cross sell additional products.
  • Contact current customers to promote additional products and services.
  • Build and nurture lead portfolio to convert to sales.
  • Carry out dedicated outbound sales campaigns to existing and potential clients.
  • Build relationships with potential contractor clients to nurture and convert leads.
  • Contact new client to offer assistance and further promote Qdos and the services we offer.
  • Liaise with underwriters regarding new insurance proposals.
  • Responds to any new enquiry emails.
  • Adhere to compliance requirements.
  • To maintain a high degree of product knowledge.

The core objective of this role is to process the sale of insurance policies and other services to our clients.

Individuals need to be able to effectively communicate details of policies to ensure the customer has a full understanding of the products they are purchasing.

The role will form part of a team of 4 New Business Advisors who will also work closely with a team of Customer Service Advisors.

Job Requirements

Essential

  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced team  
  • This is a target based environment, so candidates need to be motivated, pro-active and driven to achieve positive results.
  • Computer Literate 

Desirable

  • Knowledge of insurance or contractor market
  • Telesales or call center experience
